Capoeira is tool for building fit, healthy and strong bodies and minds.
Capoeira is a dynamic and spectacular multi-disciplinary cultural, sport / art form which draws on the rich tradition of Afro-Brazilian music, dance, story telling, theatre and self-defense. The cultural and oral tradition of Capoeira evolved from the history of the African people’s will to resist transportation from Africa and to survive enslavement in Brazil. From its beginnings Capoeira practice has been about strengthening the body and spirit of those who practice it by connecting them to their community.
Fight To Be Fit is the type of training which involves bag work, one on one pad training and body weight exercise which are used in ciruit training. The results from boxing being incorporated into training programmes effectively achieves results in muscle toning whilst increasing stamina and endurance.
Flexibility is improved with more co-ordination in body movement including hands, feet and eyes. Individual strength increases with regular training in the gym where instruction is given towards personal levels of fitness.

Classes combine boxing, kickboxing, Brazilian Jiu Jitsu & Wrestling. It is the most comprehensive fighting style, as it uses nearly every fighting technique allowed. Fighters are permitted to punch, kick, knee, throw, strangle, joint lock - even strike opponents on the ground.
MMA should not be confused with No Holds Barred fighting or tough man competitions. Strict rules and regulations are enforced regarding the specifications of gloves, protective equipment, the number and length of rounds and the correct matching of opponents in weight classes.
Students learn fromthese basic ranges and styles:
Standing Striking Range - using traditional boxing, kickboxing and Thai boxing skills.
Standing Grappling Range - close quarter fighting using punches and knees from Muay Thai and Boxing, plus throwing and takedown techniques from BJJ (Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu).
Ground Fighting Range - this is where many fights in the sport are decided. Fighters can use any submission technique from Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu,
Muay Thai is an ancient art of self defense that is intertwined with the Thai people. It has grown in recent years into a popular sport, not only in Thailand but around the world.
Muay Thai uses all eight weapons. That is, hands, feet, knees and elbows and is often reffered to as "The Science of Eight Limbs".
Muay Thai is considered to be the most effective stand up fighting art on Earth. Muay Boran, (Old style Muay Thai) which includes the head as a 9th weapon and the use of ground fighting can also be included in training which makes Muay Thai a complete fighting art.
We train beginners to advanced. You can train for self defense, fitness or to enter the ring.
