About Goioerê

Goioerê is a black belt Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu in Clube Feijao Jiu-Jitsu (Nova União) and is a dual and former world champion of Capoeira, he is also a Vale Tudo Instructor.

Goioerê has fourteen years Jiu-Jitsu experience and commenced learning Jiu-Jitsu in 1994 and then later trained in 1995 with black belt Renato Sampaio from Carlson Gracie Team.

Throughout his Jiu-Jitsu career he has had the privilege of training with: Black Belts Renato Sampaio, Magoo, Nelson Junior,  Zé Macerlo and with long standing coach Black Belt second Dan, Feijão - Nova União who is six times BJJ world champion, 12 times national BJJ champion. Feijão has pioneered the professional development of Nova União by establishing the Federation of BJJ in the State of Paraná, he has trained many students who later became world champions in both BJJ and mixed martial arts. e.g. Pato & Rene Nazare. Feijão’s teachers are: the famous 5th Dan black belts - Alexander Wendell and Andre Pederneiras both founding fathers of Nova União.

- Estadual do Rio de Janeiro  (All States of Brazil competed, very prestigious national competition) 2002 Vice- Champion, open category & medium weight. Copa Reni Rabello – Rio de Janeiro, 1998 Vice-Champion open category. Copa Performance Jiu-Jitsu Nova União Champion category middle weight, São Paulo 2002. Paraná 6 times State Champion & twice Vice-champion. Pan Pacific Melbourne 2007-champion open category no GI.

Vale Tudo - 3 times National Champion in 1999, 2000 and 2001.It sets a student in a healthy environment and creates a strong relationship / bond teamwork.
